Part of Sports and Leisure Management Ltd, Everyone Active is the longest-established leisure contractor in the UK, having been founded in 1987.

Everyone Active’s mission is to encourage everyone they come into contact with to participate in at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity, either in a centre or via their online training, five times per week.

To help them achieve this mission, they manage over 190 leisure and cultural centres across the UK in partnership with more than 60 different local authorities.

The Mid Suffolk site features a state-of-the art gym and three swimming pools. There’s also a climbing wall suitable for climbers of all abilities, as well as a range of group fitness classes to suit all tastes.

Now, members can also enjoy the pinnacle of indoor cycling with the addition of two new Wattbike AtomX’s. Connah Lloyd, Area Fitness Manager, comments:

“As the first centre in the Everyone Active group to get these we’re really excited to have two AtomX’s as part of our new refurbishment! So far these have been really well received amongst our members and provide a brilliant selling point when it comes to attracting new members into the facility. We opted for the AtomX’s after having such a positive experience with Wattbike Pro/Trainers in other facilities across Everyone Active.

The training and support from Wattbike has been great, and the cutting edge technology and comprehensive fitness testing allow our personal trainers to take their sessions to a new level. From experience so far, the bikes have appealed to a wide demographic of users, from high level athletes to general fitness users, to those undertaking rehabilitation programmes and even our junior members. We’ll definitely be looking at bringing these into more facilities in the future, and I’m really looking forward to sharing this amazing training tool with as many of our members as possible going forward! ”

The Healthspan Score is a simple, intuitive way to communicate a member’scardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) — one of the strongest indicators of long-term health and performance. It translates complex physiological data into a single, trackable number that gives members clarity, purpose, and a reason to keep coming back.

CRF is highly trainable, and with a tool like the Healthspan Score, members can see their progress clearly, which keeps them motivated, engaged, and more likely to achieve their goals.
