This adds to a stock of over 60 Wattbikes which can already be found in the lab. The Hong Kong Sports Institute supports Chinese Cycling and Hong Kong Rowing, among many other international sporting federations.

The aim of the Hong Kong Sports Institute is to provide an environment in which sport talent can be identified, nurtured and developed to pursue excellence in sport. Aside from the world-class sport facilities, athletes are provided with elite coaching, sports science, sports medicine, strength and conditioning, education and applied research. The Wattbikes have been a crucial part of the HKSI for the past couple of years as they greatly support athlete rehab and testing.
