The Summer Games always serve as a beacon of inspiration for people across the world. Showcasing the very best of human potential, bringing together athletes from diverse backgrounds who have dedicated their lives to reaching the pinnacle of their sports.
Wattbike has launched a global Leaderboard to call all Wattbikers to go head-to-head, and we want the AusCycling members to shoot for the top and see if you can win the 200m sprint challenge and be in with a chance to win $400 to spend on the Wattbike eComm store. The Wattbike Leaderboards feature is an innovative addition that offers Wattbikers of all levels an engaging and competitive platform. Giving you the ability to track your performance, set new personal records, and compete with a global community.
The Leaderboards feature includes a variety of challenges, such as endurance tests, hill climbs, speed sprints, and distance goals. You can easily participate by completing any workout in the 'Challenges' category or by taking part in selected tests and climbs via the free-to-use Wattbike Hub app. By default, the Leaderboards display "all-time" results, with a monthly breakdown coming soon to help users track their progress more closely.
Whether you have a bike at home, use one at the gym, or are part of a school or athletic program you can get involved. Designed to be fun and inclusive and can even serve as a platform for talent identification.
Exciting updates are also on the horizon including team events and sub-leaderboards for teams or groups of friends. So, if you have friends from all corners of Australia you can compete against one another in your private leaderboard. Plus, country-specific rankings and personal best (PB) functionality are all in the pipeline. These enhancements are designed to make cycling even more fun and engaging, offering new ways to compete, collaborate, and celebrate achievements within the global Wattbike community.
