There have been lots of exciting Wattbike installs in China and its neighbouring countries recently, with focus on elite sport and high performance centres especially. One of these sites is the Qinhuangdao Training Centre of China, who recently purchased eight Wattbikes for their site. This centre, and its Olympic Sports Stadium, was used as an Olympic competition venue during the 2008 Summer Olympics and still thrives today with numerous sporting activities and events.

The Jilin Snow Sports Management Centre is another Chinese site to recently purchase Wattbikes, with 15 Wattbikes having been delivered recently. This centre focuses on developing Chinese athletes and businesses in the run-up to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
