We are excited to announce the launch of the brand new Wattbike Interval Builder, which is now available in the Performance Touchscreen of the Wattbike Nucleus since Monday, June 8th 2020.
Targeted at commercial environments, the Interval Builder allows users to quickly build their own custom interval workouts of up to 20 sets, through an intuitive interface with simple controls. Each set offers users granular control over active and recovery power and duration, so every session can be specifically adapted to each individual's goals and needs.
The firmware update took place on Monday morning, so you should not experience any issues with your Nucleus. However, to ensure you have received the most recent firmware update, we would recommend the following steps:
1. Ensure your Wattbike Nucleus is connected to a network, here's a video on how to do it (05:00).
2. Check that you have enabled Firmware Auto Update. This can be done through Advanced Settings > scroll down > Enable Auto Firmware Update.
When updating, the touchscreen will restart and proceed to update the firmware. This can take anything between 15 seconds-2 minutes, so please be patient whilst the firmware is updating.
The Wattbike Interval Builder allows you to create and ride custom interval workouts, so you can adapt each session to every customer's needs. You decide the sets, how many intervals, the active period, the rest period, and the wattage for each interval. It's as simple as that. 20 of your latest Interval Builder workouts will be saved in the Performance Touchscreen, so your clients and members can revisit their favourite custom sessions at any time.
Please watch the video below for a step by step guide on how to use the Interval Builder.
In addition to the Interval Builder, we have fixed some bugs which were affecting the otherwise smooth performance of the Wattbike Nucleus. In addition to these bug fixes, there is now also an improved Help section in the Performance Touchscreen where you can find the answers to FAQs or report an issue.
We have also added the Army A3 Test and FireFit test to the Performance Touchscreen, so servicemen and women can test their performance easily, or if you wish to find out if you have what it takes to serve in the Army or the Fire Services.
