We're halfway through the Tour and the mountains are calling!

The Alpe d'Huez is one of the most historic and challenging Tour de France climbs, and today (Thursday 14 July, 2022) the race will battle it out on the famous 21 hairpin climb.

Alpe d’Huez is in the region of Bourg d’Oisans, France. It is 13.59km long with an average gradient of 8%.

Have what it takes? Conquer Alpe d’Huez on your Wattbike Atom via the Wattbike Hub and you’ll be automatically entered into a prize draw! This is your chance to win a £100 gift card to spend on energy products and electrolyte drinks from our friends atPrecision Fuel & Hydration.

You’ll also get a one-on-one video consultation with their Athlete Support team to answer your fuelling and hydration questions and help you dial in your strategy before your next big ride.

Five Wattbikers who complete the climb and log the ride in the Wattbike Hub will be chosen at random. Winners will be contacted via email no later than Friday 29th July 2022. Winners will also be announced via Wattbike Instagram stories.

How to enter

  1. Fire up your Wattbike Atom smart bike

  2. Connect to the Wattbike Hub and go to workouts > Summer Sessions x Tour category

  3. Complete the Alpe d'Huez climb by Sunday 24th July 2022, the final day of the Tour

Make sure you upload your sessions on social media and tag @wattbike , @precisionfandh and #WattbikeSummerSessions
Terms & Conditions
  1. This competition is open to all entrants aged 18 years or over (with no international countries exclusions), except employees of Wattbike limited, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.
  2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the promoter [Wattbike] is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. To qualify for the prize draw, entries must be submitted by completing Alpe d’Heuz on the Wattbike Hub app from Friday 1st July 2022 to Sunday 24 July 2022 (23:59GMT).
    1. The prize will be redeemed and fulfilled by Precision Fuel & Hydration and is based on stock availability.
  4. All eligible participants will be automatically entered into the draw and five winners chosen at random from all entries submitted by the promotion periods as stated in section 3.
  5. Winners will be contacted by email no later than Friday 29th July 2022.
  6. Should Wattbike Ltd be unable to contact winners or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, Wattbike Ltd reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  7. Wattbike Ltd is not responsible for the fulfilment of Precision Fuel & Hydration gift card.
  8. Entrants data will be used for the purpose of administering the prize draws and in accordance with the permissions granted at the point of entry.
